Description

Glittering Prize 81/92 is a Simple Minds compilation on CD, bringing together songs from the band’s post-punk and later stadium-rock periods. It is a purple-colour edition for listeners exploring the group’s changing sound.

Simple Minds’ earlier tracks feature glittering keyboards and energetic guitars, while later songs take on a more anthemic stadium-rock style. Standout songs include “Love Song”, “Promised You A Miracle”, “Someone, Somewhere In Summertime”, “Alive And Kicking”, “Sanctify Yourself”, “Belfast Child” and “Mandela Day”.
