Station Model Violence - Station Model Violence

This CD captures the raw energy and introspective sound of Station Model Violence. Drawing inspiration from the pioneering spirit of Krautrock and the visceral performances of artists like Iggy Pop, this album marks a significant new chapter for the band. Formed in Sydney following a period of lockdown, the project emerged from a desire to create something fresh and vital, moving beyond previous musical endeavors.

The genesis of Station Model Violence is rooted in a creative spark ignited during the writing process for another project, KX Aminal. A specific guitar line, reminiscent of the band Crisis, led to a unique descriptor that became a guiding principle for the songwriting on this album. This release embodies a deliberate effort to break free from stasis and channel a powerful, new musical direction.
