Charlie Parker - Bluebird [Limited Edition Red Vinyl]

Bluebird is a Charlie Parker collection featuring complete master takes from recording sessions with his regular Quintet, including Miles Davis on trumpet. This limited edition is pressed on 180g red vinyl and includes the complete album plus two bonus tracks.

Alto saxophonist Charlie Parker was one of jazz’s most influential artists and a leading bebop musician. These sessions bring together his quintet with the equally influential Miles Davis.

Standout tracks include “Billie’s Bounce,” “Now’s the Time,” “Scrapple from the Apple” and “Donna Lee.” One session features Parker playing tenor sax, an instrument he recorded on only rarely.
