Leaving Las Vegas (1995) - DVD Theatrical Cut [DVD]

In this powerful and emotionally raw drama, a broken man named Ben Sanderson (Nicolas Cage), a former Hollywood screenwriter consumed by alcoholism, arrives in Las Vegas with one goal: to drink himself to death. There, he forms an unexpected and deeply moving connection with Sera (Elisabeth Shue), a compassionate yet troubled prostitute. Despite their damaged lives, they find solace in each other, forming a bond built on unconditional acceptance—she never asks him to stop drinking, and he never asks her to leave her life behind. Their love story, tragic yet profoundly human, unfolds with unflinching honesty, capturing the fragile beauty of two lost souls clinging to each other in the face of despair.
