Underworld Beauty [Blu-ray]

Experience this wildly inventive early noir from director Seijun Suzuki, who infectiously plays with genre rules and gender stereotypes. The story follows thief Miyamoto as he attempts to retrieve diamonds he stashed before his arrest to help his crippled former partner, Mihara. When a deal with their former boss, crime lord Oyane, goes awry, Mihara swallows the diamonds and dies, leaving Miyamoto an uneasy alliance with Mihara's sister, Akiko, to keep the gems out of the hands of gangsters and police.
