Description
Ghost Reveries is the eighth full-length album by Swedish metal band Opeth, for listeners drawn to intricate riffs and contrasting vocal styles. This Music On Vinyl pressing is on 180 gm vinyl.
Composed by Mikael Åkerfeldt, the album combines heavy, precisely played guitar riffs and twisted solos with classical clean harmonies and guttural growls. Its dark, emotionally fragmented sound brings together the band's technical approach and melodic side.
Standout songs include “The Grand Conjuration” and “Reverie/Harlequin Forest”.
