Albert Castiglia - Grits & Glory [Vinyl]

Experience the raw, unfiltered blues of Albert Castiglia with his latest album, Grits & Glory. Recorded at the iconic Abbey Road Studios, this vinyl release captures a full-circle moment for the acclaimed guitarist, reconnecting him with the British blues influences that have shaped his sound.

Grits & Glory was born from a conversation during a 2023 European tour, leading Castiglia back to Britain to record with his trusted road band, Cliff Moore on bass and Ray Hangen on drums. Produced by Dave Gross, a longtime collaborator with deep knowledge of Abbey Road, the album embodies Castiglia's signature style, steeped in the spirit of British blues.

Ahead of the sessions, Castiglia immersed himself in British culture, visiting Birmingham to walk the streets that inspired Black Sabbath and Tony Iommi. The result is an album that crackles with history, heart, and the fierce, soulful energy that defines Albert Castiglia's music. This is blues that demands to be heard loud.
