Seven Seas Panguan: The Twelfth Gate Vol. 1 - Fantasy Novel

Dive into a modern-day supernatural danmei (Boys’ Love) story from the author and universe of Copper Coins and Three Hundred Years of Longing. Panguan: The Twelfth Gate follows Wen Shi, a cultivator tasked with guiding souls to the afterlife. Having spent a thousand years in this role, Wen Shi is trapped in a cycle of rebirth, desperately seeking the lost pieces of his own soul. Now, in his twelfth life, he experiences a constant hunger that can only be sated by the dark miasma clinging to the dead.

His solitary existence is disrupted when Xie Wen, a failed panguan, answers Wen Shi's ad for a roommate. Wen Shi is immediately struck by the dense miasma surrounding the handsome young man, making Xie Wen a tempting, albeit irritating, prospect. As Wen Shi spends more time with Xie Wen, he uncovers a mysterious connection, as Xie Wen seems to possess knowledge of Wen Shi's forgotten past—knowledge that could finally end his millennium of lonely wandering.
