Kate Nash - Germ / Famine [Vinyl]

This 2026 release by Kate Nash, titled "Germ / Famine," is presented on vinyl and is limited to Ireland & UK. The artist explores themes of historical acknowledgment and cultural understanding, drawing inspiration from Sinéad O'Connor's message of healing through remembrance and grief. Nash, who holds dual British and Irish nationality, reflects on the importance of acknowledging historical actions for fostering peace and connection between the two nations. She incorporates the tin whistle, her first instrument, playing a tune learned in her Irish Catholic primary school, adding a personal layer to the song's exploration of pivotal historical moments between Ireland and England.
