The Damned - Not Like Everybody Else [Vinyl]

The Damned’s Not Like Everybody Else is a vinyl tribute to the band’s late guitarist Brian James. It features ten songs by artists who influenced him and the rest of the band.

Recorded in five days at Revolver Studio in Los Angeles with producer Mikal Blue, the album honours James, who died on 6 March 2025. The Damned bring their rock sound to songs including R. Dean Taylor’s “Ghost In My House”, Pink Floyd’s “See Emily Play” and The Animals’ “When I Was Young”.

The closing track, The Rolling Stones’ “The Last Time”, features Brian James in a performance drawn from original live recordings and remixed for this release. The album serves as both a tribute and a farewell.
